SBI announces 8301 vacancies for Junior Associates

The leading public sector bank in India, the State Bank of India, has announced 8301 vacancies to be filled up for posts of Junior Associates.
Applications are invited from the young graduates. Out of the 8301 posts, 7200 are fresh recruitments. 1101 posts are back-office works. Out of this, 346 posts are allotted for Tamil Nadu state and 4 posts are for Puducherry. In the back-office posts, 52 posts are allotted for Tamil Nadu.
The maximum posts are 885 in Uttar Pradesh. Maharashtra has 730 posts. More than 500 posts are allotted for the states of Odisha, Gujarat, West Bengal, and Madhya Pradesh.

Age Limit: The applicants must be in the age group 20-28 as on 1st January 2018. In other words, they should have born between 2nd January 1990 and 1st January 1998. Special classes will be given age concession as per the government rules and regulations.
Qualifications: Applications must be graduates of any faculty.
Selection procedure: The applicants will be selected on the basis of the performance in online written test and communication skill test in the regional language.
The online written test will be conducted in 2 stages – preliminary test and the main test.
Application Fee: For the open community and OBC cadre – Rs. 600. For SC/ST/differently-abled.ex-military personnel, it is Rs. 100.
