Soon, expect a drastic change in Tirupathi Darshan queue

In order to manage the large crowd of devotees jostling in long queues, a new queue system is proposed and set to be introduced.
The world-famous temple of Lord Venkateswara in Tirupathi has been drawing an ever-increasing crowd of devotees ready to bear the pain of long wait and jostling in the crowd to have a Darshan.
TTD (Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam Board) has decided to change the present queue management system. As per the new proposal, devotees will be allowed to enter the temple premises in 2 different lines. The first queue will be via circling the Ranganayaka Mandapam. The second queue would be via the location nearby the temple’s main divine flag pole.
Both the above queues will merge near the silver gate to proceed for the Darshan of the Lord.
This proposal is reviewed thoroughly to check all aspects and the final procedure will be crystallised. This would be implemented in 2 months in the temple.
