CM inaugurates online sand sales website & app

The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E. Palanisamy inaugurated online sand sales website www.tnsand.in and a mobile application called tnsand at the Chennai Secretariat.
The Tamil Nadu Government has taken over last month the functioning of quarries which were with the private parties.
The state government had also explored about undertaking sales of sand online by registration in order to streamline the process of sand sales.

The Chief Minister also inaugurated the functioning of mobile app called tnsand related to sales of sand.
He also released the guidelines for the website and the app. With this new facility, the common public or lorry owners can book the purchase of sand just like being done for booking water tankers.
It is informed that the online booking will save considerable time by arriving only on the specified time, get the same quickly.
It has been informed that the buyers have the option to select their quarries. It is announced that both the website and the app will be active soon.
