Due to thermal convection,it may rain or rain with thunder during the next 4 days in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that Due to thermal convection,it may rain or rain with thunder during the next 4 days in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Chennai Metro city and suburban areas will remain somewhat cloudy. The maximum temperature will be 38 Degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 29 Degrees Celsius.
An official from the meteorological department explained that though it may rain in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, the summer heat will be on the higher side. This will continue for the next 3 days. During the onset of the southwest monsoon season in Kerala, it rained heavily. The rain has now abated. However, the southwest monsoon rains will intensify in the next 7 to 10 days.
