Rain or thundershower expected at a few places over Tamil Nadu today

Chennai Meteorological Centre has mentioned that rain or thundershower is likely to occur at a few places over Tamil Nadu today. S. Balachandran, Director, Area Cyclone Warning Centre, Chennai, said: South West Monsoon rains have intensified in Karnataka. There will be rains or thundershowers in few places in southern districts today. There will also be rains in one or two places in northern districts. As far as Chennai is concerned the sky condition likely to be generally cloudy. Rain or thunder shower is likely to occur in some areas during night.
