La Nino to devastate this year

Though the effect of heat convection is gradually subsiding, owing to the following La Nino, heavy rain showers and flood are likely, claim researchers.
Due to heat convection, there had been severe downpour in Asian countries including Malaysia, Philippine, to name a few.
Vietnam which is one of the major producers of rice is now facing severe crisis situation unlike past 100 years. There prevails an alarming situation in India where over 33 crore people may possibly not get drinking water. Mekong river that starts at China and runs along 6 south Asian countries is now running with historic low levels of water. This has resulted in draught condition in a number of nations.
At this juncture, researchers say heat convection will get reduced by the mid of this month. Following this, La Nino, cold convection will begin at the end of this year, say researchers. Due to this, there will be severe rainfall, and flood, they alert. Agriculture which is already at poor state will further get affected, they add. There will be devastating effect due to cold convection. This will be far worse than the effects caused by heat convection.
Heat convection has caused over 6 crore deaths and are in need for relief measures. He also added that La Nino may largely affect agriculture.
