Prospects of rain in coastal districts of Tamil Nadu

The Meteorological Centre has informed that there are good prospects of rain in some places along the coastal districts of Tamil Nadu.
The low depression which had taken shape over South Andaman Sea and nearby has moved towards Southeast Bay of Bengal & the nearby South Andaman Sea and has stabilsed there.
Because of this, the meteorological centre has informed that there are prospects of rain and rain with thunder in some places along the coastal districts of Tamil Nadu & Pudhucherry.
Some areas in Chennai, Kanchipuram, and Thiruvallur districts had rains yesterday (Saturday, 26th December) evening.
