Chennai to have rains on 27th and 28th

A feeble cyclonic circulation, which is developing over South Andaman Sea will start moving in a westerly direction. The system is likely to intensify into a low-pressure area. The weather system will reach South Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka coast and will give good rains over South and Central districts of Coastal Tamil Nadu along with Puducherry. Chennai rains will also revive for a short period of time on December 27. The city will receive light rainfall with a few moderate spells on December 27 and 28. However, the intensity will be light and the duration will be short.
