Chennai to experience chilly nights over the next few days

Chennai residents will experience chilly nights in the coming days. According to a report from the Meteorological Department, the nights will be colder and weather will be more or less clear. The remaining northeast monsoons will last a few days. There will be isolated rainfall across the State over the next 3 days.
The Nungambakkam and Meenambakkam weather stations have recorded 22 degree Celsius minimum temperatures these past few nights.
Officials at the Met Dept. said, Though the city may experience a night temperature of 22 degree Celsius, there is a possibility of light showers because of sea breeze... Clear sky and weak northeast monsoon activity have brought down the night temperature over the city. But, we cannot rule out the possibility of mild showers in a few areas. But, the city will largely experience clear weather and partly cloudy sky for a few days.
