Light to moderate rain would occur at few places in Tamil Nadu

Yesterday`s upper air cyclonic circulation over Lakshadweep and adjoining Southeast Arabian Sea persists. An upper air cyclonic circulation lies over Comorin area and adjoining Srilanka. Hence coastal parts of Tamil Nadu including Chennai will also receive some rainfall on 19th and 20th.
North East Monsoon will be there for 14 more days. Today and tomorrow light to moderate rain would occur at a few places over Ramanathapuram, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Kanyakumari districts of Tamil Nadu and isolated light to moderate rain may occur over remaining districts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
