Very heavy rains expected for the next four days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry

India Meteorological Department update informed this morning that a low-pressure area is expected to form in the next 24 hours near South Andaman Sea. In view of this Met Department has forecast four days of heavy to very rains for Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and coastal Andhra Pradesh from tomorrow (Friday).
A passing shower or two is the forecast for Chennai today before they grow into sustained rain and thundershowers from tomorrow.
