Anna University Exams get delayed due to the parliamentary elections

Anna university examinations are postponed due to the ensuing parliamentary elections.
However, there has been no major change in the semester exams for the arts & science colleges.
Election is scheduled for all the 39 seats in Tamil Nadu on 24th April. .Counting of votes will be on 16th May. Due to this, the exams for Anna University students and affiliated colleges have been postponed by 20 days.
Exams for Anna University and affiliated colleges for the 8th Semester will start on 3rd April and will be completed by 22nd April. The other semester exams will start on 16th May (after vote counting).
So, exams for Anna University & affiliated colleges will be in 2 stages – before ( for the a Arts & Sciences) & after the elections (for the others).
