These foods are good in reducing the fat present in our liver

Are you aware of the fact that fatty liver disease could be got even if we don’t consume alcohol? Shocking isn’t it!!

It is well known that fatty liver disease affects many people and the affected persons would have inflamed liver. This is usually due to alcohol consumption.  Sometimes we could get non- alcoholic fatty liver disease or NAFLD also and this could be even without the intake of alcohol by us. 

Those who consume highly processed foods, those who are obese etc could get fatty liver disease. This fatty liver disease or FLD is also known as hepatic steatosis and is a condition where excess fats build up in liver. Liver cirrhosis, liver cancer and oesophageal varices are the complications of FLD.

Intake of broccoli:
It is well known that intake of cruciferous vegetable could provide us many health benefits like prevention of cancer etc. It is believed that intake of this vegetable could reduce the fat build up in the liver. Excess weight could be lost by intake of food rich in greens.

Intake of walnuts:
In those having non - alcohol fatty liver disease, intake of walnuts rich in omega 3 fatty acids have shown to reduce fat and inflammation of liver.

Intake of garlic:
It is an important kitchen ingredient and is used in making many dishes are well known. In those with fatty liver disease, garlic powder supplements reduce both liver fat as well as body weight.

Intake of coffee:
Important information is intake of coffee could protect our liver from non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Liver inflammation and fibrosis could be reduced by coffee having chlorogenic acid.
