Velankanni Cathedrals Annual Festival Commences with Flag Hoisting Today
The annual festival at Velankanni Cathedral kicks off today, August 29th, with the traditional flag hoisting ceremony. This event marks the beginning of a 10-day festival that transforms Nagapattinam district into a vibrant festival hub, attracting devotees from across the state and even abroad.
To ensure the safety and security of all attendees, over 2,500 police personnel from four districts have put in place robust security arrangements.
