By June month end, engineering counselling to begin in TN

The authorities belonging to the Directorate of Technical Education or DOTE would be giving final touches to start the process of engineering counselling in TN. The online counselling for engineering admissions would start by the end of the month of June.
It must be noted that since 2018 DOTE has been conducting online engineering counselling. Previously, Anna University was involved in this is known.
Every year, online engineering counselling has been starting in the last week of June month and similarly in 2020 also it would start in the end of June. This was according to a senior official of DOTE. Information is AICTE or All India Council for Technical Education had announced that engineering admissions should start in August.
The senior official explained about how the online counselling would be done more efficiently as the team has got more staff experts and academicians. He hinted that about 500 persons would be involved in the upcoming online engineering counselling.
For the sake of providing help to many students, more information centers have been set up in the districts. Point is modified software could handle more than 2 lakhs applications. The online registrations have been made relatively easy in 2020 for the students to submit their details through web portal.
