Short term course for unemployed and school dropouts

Chennai Collector P Maheswari has mentioned that the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation will conduct a short term course for unemployed and school dropouts.
In a press release, she has mentioned: Short term course is to be conducted for unemployed boys and girls, students who could not pursue the studies and school dropouts. The course will be conducted at Guindy ITI. This course is being organized by the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation and ITI. Courses are to be conducted for the categories such as electrician (domestic), basic installation and measurement, repairing of windows and speed A/C, repairing of four wheelers, welder, cookery and cool drinks service.
The course has begun on 1st of this month. Candidates who have studied fifth standard and above are eligible for the course. Candidates should be above 12 years. The course is conducted free of cost for three months. Rs 100 will be paid as conveyance allowance. Tamil Nadu government certificate will be issued on completion of course.
