39 Students from BASE Qualified in KVPY - 2018 Stage -1

Once again the students of BASE bring outstanding results in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) examination, a Government of India initiative to encourage students to take up research careers in Pure Sciences. 39 students from BASE have qualified in the SA & SX aptitude test conducted in November 2018. 18 students from 1st PUC / 11th Std have qualified in SA while 21 students from 2nd PUC / 12th Std have qualified in SX exam.

This prestigious scholarship program is funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India and administered by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc, Bangalore). Scholarships are provided (up to the pre-Ph.D. level) to the selected students. The aim of the program is to identify and encourage talented and motivated students to pursue in the field of research.
