State government announces regarding PF interest rates

The state government of Tamil Nadu has announced that the present interest rate of 8% will remain unchanged for the Employees Provident Fund (PF) accounts.
The central government has recently announced the interest rate of 8% for the Provident Fund Accounts for the period from 1st January to 31st March.
Subsequently, the state government of Tamil Nadu has also announced the same interest rate of 8% unchanged for this period. An interest rate of 8.5% was already announced and paid for the period from 1st October to 31st December.
