If money is demanded for linking the Aadhar-Electricity connection Numbers, stringent legal action!

Tamil Nadu State Electricity Board (TNEB) has strictly warned that in case the employees demand money for linking their Aadhar card with the Electricity Connection Number, stringent immediate legal action will be taken.
There are a total of 2.30 Crores of Electricity connections in the State of Tamil Nadu domestic application. There are 22 lakhs of agricultural connections and 11 Lakhs of Electricity Connections for Huts!
Tamil Nadu Electricity Board released an announcement to link the above electricity connections with the respective Aadhar Cards.
Time extension has been given until 31st December to complete the link between the Aadhar card and the Electricity Connection Number.
Camps have been set up and organized on behalf of the Tamil Nadu State Government for this purpose!
As such, the public is using the camps as well to link their Electricity Connection numbers with their respective Aadhar cards.
In this situation, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) has issued certain warnings to its Officers! In a notification released by TNEB in this regard, it is mentioned:
"STRINGENT IMMEDIATE ACTION WILL BE TAKEN IN CASE MONEY IS DEMANDED FROM THE PUBLIC FOR LINKING ELECTRICITY CONNECTION NUMBERS WITH AADHAR CARDS! SPECIAL PRIORITY MUST BE GIVEN TO THE SENIOR CITIZENS AND DIFFERENTLY-ABLED WHO VISIT THE CAMP FOR THIS PURPOSE!
ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENTS MUST BE READILY KEPT IN CASE THERE ARE SOME PROBLEMS FACED WITH THE COMPUTER,
IT IS ORDERED THAT THE STAFF IN THE CAMPS MUST FUNCTION FROM 10.00 AM TILL 5.15 PM WITHOUT ANY BREAKS!"
