For getting the copper that is needed for health, please eat these foods without fail!!

453 In the last 2 years two main terms that are given more importance by the people are diet and healthy eating. The Coronavirus pandemic has made people to be careful regarding their daily food intake. Our body would need nutrients like minerals, vitamins, natural sugars etc for doing functions like keeping energy levels high, providing high immunity etc. Just like vitamins, minerals also play an important role and in this aspect the intake of mineral copper is very important for us.

For energy production, boosting brain health, supporting the immune system etc, copper is essential for us. Copper would combine with iron to form red blood cells and tissues etc in us. Copper is needed by us in small quantities. Deficiency of copper could lead to weak bones, joint pain, vitamin B12 deficiency etc. When copper is consumed in high amounts by us, then we could get cramps, diarrhea, vomiting etc. 

Sources of food that is rich in copper are

Oyster intake:

Oyster is a type of shellfish and it is rich in copper. Truth is that oysters could provide 7.6mg of copper per 100 grams. And this can fulfill our daily requirement of copper. Oysters are also rich in zinc, manganese and vitamin D etc.

Dark leafy greens intake:

Spinach and kale are a few examples of green leafy vegetables and they are rich in copper. These green leafy veggies are also rich in fibers plus calcium, magnesium, vitamin K etc. They play an important role in production of blood cells plus prevent anemia and strengthen the bones etc.

Dry fruits intake:

Dry fruits are rich in fibers, proteins, healthy fats plus minerals and vitamins etc There are nuts like cashew and almonds that have large amounts of copper in them. They form the vegetarian source of copper.

Seeds intake:

Various seeds like sesame seeds, flax seeds and sunflower seeds are edible seeds and they have copper in them. These could be an ideal copper rich food for the vegetarians.

Dark chocolate intake:

It would be highly nutritious to eat dark chocolates. The dark chocolates are full of antioxidants and they would help in the blood flow plus reduce BP etc.

Spirulina intake:

Powdered food supplement made from the blue green algae or cyanobacteria is spirulina. It must be noted that spirulina contains various ingredients like proteins, vitamin B2, vitamin B1 etc.

Avocados intake:

 It is worthy to note that avocados are rich in copper and intake of avocados would provide us many health benefits.
