Though TTD (Thirumalai Tirupathi Devasthanam Board) has undertaken various coronavirus prevention activities, the number of devotees visiting Tirupathi has come down drastically!

The devotees are permitted only in the Direct Darshan from yesterday (Tuesday, 17th March). The TTD staff control the crowd of devotees such that not more than 50 devotees gather at a single place. Thus, without the usual swarming crowds of devote, the temple place Thirumalai wears a deserted look!

Direct Darshan tokens are being distributed at the Central Enquiry Office, Road transport Corporation Bus Station, etc.

The devotees can present their IDs at the counters set up in Srinivasam, Vishnunivasam, Govindarajasamy choultries located at the back of the Railway station, Bus Station, and the Railway Station and get the Direct Darshan ticket.

The TTD staff keeps spraying disinfectants once in every 2 hours at all places hand-touched by the devotees! All the employees at TTD are wearing masks.
