There are prospects of rain in the next 3 hours in 17 districts, namely Chengalpattu, Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Thoothukkudi, Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Ranippettai, Thirupathur, Salem, Dharmapuri, Kallakkurichi, Theni, Dindigul, Thenkasi, Thirunelveli, and Virudhunagar.
