Prospects for medium rain for 5 days in Tamil Nadu!

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed us that there are prospects for medium rain to persist for 5 days in Tamil Nadu.
In a notification released by the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre in this regard, it is mentioned:
Due to the changes in the speed of the easterly winds, there are prospects for mild to medium rain in a few places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikkal from today (Wednesday, 14th December) until 18th December!
As regards the Chennai Metro City and its suburbs, the sky will remain somewhat cloudy for the next 48 hours. There are prospects for mild to medium rain with lightning and thunder in a few places in the city.
The maximum temperature will be 31 Degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 24 Degrees Celsius.
For fishermen
High-speed winds at 45 to 55 kmph and intermittently at 65 kmph is likely to blow across the central-east Arabian Sea and its adjacent southeast Arabian Sea. As such, the fishermen in these areas are warned not to venture into the sea on these above days!
