Formation of sudden low pressure - Moderate rains across TN and Puducherry etc today!!

Low pressure has formed over the Bay Of Bengal and as a result of that there would be moderate rains across the state of TN and Puducherry today. This was according to the Meteorological Center in Chennai. A warning has been issued now regarding heavy rains on 11th and 12th of November across several districts in Tamil Nadu.

It was brought to light by Mr.S. Balachandran, head , south zone, IMD that a low pressure was formed on south west Bay of Bengal and its adjoining areas .In the next 48 hours, it would strengthen into deep depression and might move towards TN, Puducherry coast in the next 3 days. He assured that there are no chances of this transforming into a cyclone now.

In most places belonging to TN and Puducherry, there would be light to moderate rains along with lightning and thunder. This would be due to the low pressure area.

Today, 10th November, in one or two places belonging to districts like Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai, Chennai, Kancheepuram, Thiruvallur, Chengalpet, Sivagangai, Pudukottai, Thoothukudi, Ramanathapuram, Cuddalore and Villupuram etc, there are chances of heavy rains.

Tomorrow on 11th November, in few districts belonging to Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Chengalpet, Cuddalore, Villupuram, Pudukottai, Delta districts, Sivagangai, Ramanathapuram, Virudhunagar, Ranipet, Vellore, Thirupathur districts and Puducherry etc there might be heavy to very heavy rains. On the same day, in several districts like Thiruvannamalai, Kallakurichi, Ariyalur, Perambalur, Trichy, Dindigul, Theni, Madurai, Tenkasi, Thoothukudi, Nellai, Kanniyakumari and Karur etc there might be possibilities of heavy rains.

On 12th November, one or two places belonging to several districts like Chennai, Kancheepuram, Thiruvallur, Chengalpet, Thiruvannamalai, Ranipet, Vellore, Thirupathur, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Delta districts, Trichy, Pudukottai, Dindigul and Theni etc plus in Puducherry would receive heavy to very heavy rains.
