Heavy rains today and tomorrow in some districts in TN and weather in Chennai details

There would be heavy rains in a few districts belonging to the state of Tamil Nadu today and tomorrow and this was confirmed by the regional meteorological centre.
In a release from RMC it was clear that in one of few places belonging to the districts of TN. Puducherry and Karaikal etc there would be moderate rains with lightning and thunder.
There would be heavy rains in one or two places belonging to districts of Dindigul, Coimbatore, Theni and The Nilgiris etc. Today, in some places in Chennai there would be moderate rains.
The sky would be normally cloudy in Chennai. The maximum temperature would be around 34 degrees Celsius. In the last 24 hours till the morning of yesterday, Avalanchi belonging to the Nilgiris district received 7cm rains and 2cm rains were received in some places in Chennai
There would be heavy winds of 65 kmph at speeds along the central Arabian Sea and along coastal Karnataka. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea.
