Western ghats la rains to reduce step by step, while KTCC (Chennai), north TN and other interior districts in Tamil Nadu will see hot days followed by thunderstorms starting from today. Remember these storms are not widespread ones, today miss na, tomorrow ur place will get particularly in the evenings and nights. So carry umbrella daily from today for sudden rains with thunder.
Nonstop rains in the Nilgirs, Valparai to slow down from tomorrow. Mettur Dam is full to brim, Parambikulam will reach full level in 2-3 days. Periyar dam storage improved.... all round great news. In the last 24 hrs the locked valley giants in Nilgiris i.e Mukurthy has got massive 425 mm rainfall.
Will sum up the total rainfall got in a table by tomorrow. Massive numbers when there is surge in rainfall no station in south india can match Avalanche or Mukurthy or Upper Bhavani or Parsons valley or Western Catchment. 24 hrs rainfall la, they are kings in surge with all being locked valley.
