Know about this sudden increase in the number of registrations for the arts and sciences colleges in Chennai and TN?

If you are of the view that students just prefer the professional courses like engineering, medicine etc in Chennai and in TN after completing plus two, then this piece of information would make you change your opinion!!
It has been proved now that arts and sciences courses in the colleges in Chennai and in TN are preferred by many students. Just a few days have passed after the notification the admissions for arts and sciences colleges have reached nearly 2lakhs. Last Wednesday, the admissions for UG programmes in various arts and sciences colleges in TN began. In TN, currently there are as many as 163 arts and sciences colleges are known.
Across the state of Tamil Nadu, about 1.8lakhs students have registered to pursue various courses in arts and science colleges. This was revealed by a senior officer belonging to the department of collegiate education. He added that 7th of July 2022would be the last date for submitting online applications. Point is that the students must read the detailed guidelines to fill up their application forms available on the websites.
Merit list would be prepared and selection would be carried out as per this list. After the registration process gets over then the merit list would be released.
