NEW DEPRESSION formed now on the Bay of Bengal!!

Just when it seemed that things have been returning back to normalcy in Chennai and in Tamil Nadu after very severe rains in the last 2 weeks, here comes a shocking piece of news!!
The news now is that a new depression will be formed over southwest Bay of Bengal in the next 48 hours.
As per the statement from the Regional Meteorological Centre or RMC in Chennai it was clear that in the next 48 hours a new depression would be formed. This would then move in west north westwards and it would cross the border between Sri Lanka and south TN coast.
Now, in the state of Tami Nadu, there has been an intensification of north east monsoons. It is well known that recently 2 depressions were formed along Bay of Bengal and they lost strength and crossed near Chennai. This was responsible for very heavy rains in various places and there was flooding also in many low lying areas.
