Confirmed!! Very heavy rains in Chennai on 26th and 27th November due to this reason!

The rains have lashed Chennai and its suburbs in the last 2 weeks and many areas were flooded is well known.

Now, it is revealed by RMC that during the next 24 hours there would be another low pressure that would form over the Bay of Bengal. This would result in very heavy rains in various districts belonging to Tamil Nadu for the next 3 days. On 26th and on 27th November, Chennai would get very heavy rains.

According to Mr, N. Puviarasan, director, Area Cyclone Warning Centre the cyclonic circulation over South east Bay of Bengal and neighbourhoods now lie over central parts of south Bay of Bengal. It extends up to 5.8km above the mean sea level. He added that in the next 24 hours a low pressure is likely to form over southwest Bay of Bengal and it would move west north-westwards towards Sri Lanka and south TN coast. He concluded that this low pressure would not turn into a cyclone.

Heavy to very heavy rains would be witnessed in districts like Kancheepuram, Chengalpet, Ranipet and Tiruvallur etc in the next 48 hours.

On Wednesday, districts such as Chennai, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Kanniyakumari, Ramanathapuram, delta districts etc would receive heavy rains.

There would be heavy rains along with thunderstorms on 26th and 27th November in districts like Chennai, Tiruvallur, Chengalpet and Kancheepuram etc.

It is worth mentioning that various districts like Tiruvannamalai, Vellore, Villupuram, Tirupathur, Ramanathapuram, Pudukottai, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Kanniyakumari and delta districts belonging to Tamil Nadu and Karaikal etc would receive heavy rains.
