Heavy rains in several districts belonging to TN!!

Chennai has been receiving rains and this has brought the temperature down now. Residents are finding it a little easy now due to the cool weather. The atmospheric overlay circulations would be responsible for heavy rains in several districts belonging to Tami Nadu for the next 2 days. This was informed by the Regional Meteorological Centre or RMC Chennai.

According to Mr. N. Puviarasan, director of Area Cyclone Warning Centre, RMC, Chennai it was clear that some isolated places over The Nilgiris district would receive heavy to very heavy rains with thunderstorms and other districts like Dindigul, Kanniyakumari, Theni, Coimbatore, Salem, Kallakurichi, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Madurai, Trichy, Erode and Pudukottai etc would receive thunderstorms with heavy to very heavy rains dye to atmospheric overlay air circulation plus heat convection in the next 2 days.

He later mentioned that the rest of northern parts of the state of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal would receive moderate rains. It must be taken into note that some parts of Chennai city received light to moderate rains because of heat convention. The rains would continue for the next 2 days also.

Information gathered is that the depression in the middle- East of Bay of Bengal has reached the midwest on Friday.

It is learnt that in the last 24 hours till 8:30am in the morning yesterday in TN Memathur received 7cms of rain, places like Veppur, Srimushnam, Kattumayilur received 5cms of rain each. Places like Palakoedu, Paiyyur, Annavasal and Kalayanallur received 4cms of rain each.

There was 3cms of rain in places like Gobichettipalayam,Nedungal, Ponnamavaravathi, Chengalpet, Thamaraipakkam, Thirupathur etc.
