IMD: Persistent rain forecast for 4 days from today in Tamil Nadu!

Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced that there are prospects for rain in Tamil Nadu State for 4 consecutive days from today (Thursday, 30th September).

Due to the successive formation of low-pressure zones over the Bay of Bengal, there have been rains in several places in the State of Tamil Nadu.

 As a continuation, IMD has informed that there are prospects for rains for 4 days from today (30th September).

Accordingly, there are prospects for medium rain in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and prospects for heavy rains with lightning and thunder in a few places in the districts of Nilgiri, Coimbatore, Salem, Dharmapuri, Namakkal, Krishnagiri, Thirupathur, Thiruvannamalai, Dindigul, Trichy, and Pudhukkottai.

As for tomorrow, there are prospects for widespread medium rains throughout the State and there are prospects for heavy rains with lightning and thunder in 1 or 2 places in the districts of Nilgiri, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Dindigul, Theni, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Salem, Dharmapuri, Namakkal, Krishnagiri, Thirupathur, Thiruvannamalai, Kanyakumari and Thenkasi.

IMD has further informed that on the coming Saturday and Sunday, there are prospects for widespread medium rain in several places and prospects for heavy rains in a few places.
