Heavy Rain to persist due to cyclonic format!

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that the heavy rains will persist for 3 days in several districts!
There are prospects for heavy rains today (Friday, 3rd September) in the districts of Salem, Dharmapuri, Namakkal, Nilgiri, Theni, Erode, Dindigul, Thirupathur, Thiruvannamalai, and Krishnagiri!
As regards the Chennai Metro City, the sky will remain generally cloudy for the next 48 hours! There are prospects for rain in a few places.
