Prospects of hot breeze blow today (2nd April) in 13 districts

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of a hot breeze blowing across in 13 districts including Chennai, Kanchipuram, and Thiruvallur today (Tuesday, 2nd April)
The officials of the Chennai Meteorological Centre explained in this regard:
‘A dry climate will persist in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry till Friday, 5th April. The impact of the scorching has been more severe as compared to normal especially over the last 2 days. There are prospects for the temperature to shoot up by 3 to 5 Degrees in 13 districts including Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Trichy, Karur, Dindigul, and Madurai.
The temperature crossed the 100 Degrees mark in 11 places. On Monday, A maximum temperature of 106 Degrees was recorded at Karur Paramathi. Madurai, Trichy, Trichy, and Vellore recorded 104 Degrees. Namakkal recorded 103 Degree. Palayamkottai recorded 102 Degrees. Coimbatore recorded 101 Degrees.
Chennai airport (Meenambakkam) recorded 102 Degrees Fahrenheit.
