Temperature touches 100 Degrees in 11 places in TN-107 degrees recorded in Karur Paramathi

The temperature crossed the ‘100 Degrees’ mark in 11 places yesterday (Sunday, 31st March). A maximum of 107 Degrees was recorded at Karur Parmathi and Tiruthani.
Trichy recorded 105 Degrees. Salem, Madurai, and Dharmapuri recorded 104 Degrees. Chennai airport recorded 103 Degrees. Palayamkottai recorded 102 Degrees. Coimbatore and Namakkal recorded 101 Degrees.
An official from the Chennai Meteorological Centre shared in this regard yesterday (Sunday, 31st March):
‘A dry climate will prevail in Tamil Nadu an Puducherry. The intensity of heat will increase in Tamil Nadu today (Monday, 1st April). There are prospects of the temperature shooting up by 3 Degrees in a few places in interior Tamil Nadu.
