Isolated areas of TN to experience severe heat waves

Calling it the early kick-start of summer this year, on Wednesday, the Indian Meteorological Department, IMD has rolled out a heat wave warming to isolated areas of Tamil Nadu state for 6th and 7th March.
According to the warning, it is said that the temperature rise may be of maximum of 2-3°C in most of the southern peninsular regions of India starting from Tuesday, thus causing excessive heat wave production at secluded areas.
In the interior regions of Tamil Nadu such as Thiruvannamalai, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Salem, Karuru, Dindugal, Erode, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Namakkal, and Vellore, there will be heavy heat waves. In fact, the coastal district of Tamil Nadu: Thiruvallur is also likely to see such heat waves. A maximum rise in temperature of about 2°C is to be observed in these regions.
The maximum temperature recorded in Tiruttani, Tamil Nadu is 40.1°C. The second maximum is Vellore with 39.2°C. In March last year, Vellore had the maximum temperature with 38.4°C. Weirdly, the district recorded its maximum temperature only by end of March last year.
Renowned weather bloggers say offshore winds and surge in land breeze are the two predominant reasons for such increase in temperature in secluded regions of Tamil Nadu. In another 5 days, 40°C is likely in most interior regions of the state, say bloggers.
Heat waves in particular regions can be experienced only as a result of the temperature hike up till 40°C at the plains, and about 30°C along hilly areas. In Chennai, the temperature is likely to remain of the range 34-36°C, and have hottest days in 2019.
