Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2020-21 - Series II tranche of government`s sovereign gold bond scheme opens for subscription on 11th 2020(Monday) and will close on May 15, 2020 (Friday).
The Reserve Bank of India, on behalf of the government, will issue the bonds on May 19.
The RBI has fixed the price of sovereign gold bonds at Rs.4590 per gram of gold.
Investors who want to apply online and make the payment against the application through digital mode get a discount of Rs.50 per gram.
For such investors, the issue price will be Rs.4540 per gram of gold.
The minimum permissible investment is 1 gram.
