Inauguration of Chennai International Film Festival - Details here!!

On Thursday, 30th December 2021, the 19th edition of Chennai International Film Festival was inaugurated and it was superb. From 30th December till 6th January, this film festival would take place.
The film festival has been marching forward and gaining momentum in the last 19 years. This was according to Mr. Ravi Kottarakara, secretary of South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce.
The sensational piece of information was that more than 150 films from various countries would be filmed in this festival. Over the years, there has been consistent support from the Tamil Nadu government and the film industry. This was according to Mr. E. Thangaraj, secretary.
It must be noted that after the inauguration of the film festival yesterday the film titled ‘Three Floors’ directed by Naani Moretti was screened. This Italian drama based film was based on an Italian novel named Salosh Qomot.
