Public parked vehicles on closed flyovers in Chennai

With the severe cyclone Invar playing havoc and the associated incessant downpour, the citizens of the Chennai Metro City, who could not park their vehicles in the flooded streets, had instead parked their vehicles on the flyovers/over-bridges!
As a preventive measure after the forewarning given regarding the severity of the cyclone Nivar and the likely severe damages to b caused by it, 14 over-bridges in the Chennai Metro City were closed for traffic. As vehicles were not allowed to operate on these, they were utterly deserted absolutely empty. Citizens faced hardship due to the heavy downpour and the flooded streets not being able to park their vehicles km the flooded streets. As such, they parked their vehicles on the empty over-bridges and flyovers which were closed for traffic!
This was the scenario in several parts of the Chennai Metro City!
