Jio to step into TV, landline and broadband services

Reliance Jio, after its huge entry into the telecom sector, it is now likely to step into TV, landline and broadband services at low price of just Rs 600 per month.

Reports state that Jio’s smart home network will provide its services for up to 40 devices at the price Rs 1000. In addition, the service of Jio Gigafiber will be provide across India upon making its commercial launch. It is to be noted that at present Reliance Jio is currently making testing of GigaFiber in Delhi and Mumbai regions where they provide 100GB of data limit at a speed of 100mbps entirely for free. For this, an one-time deposit of Rs 4500 is however applicable. In another 3 months from now, there is going to be addition of telephone and TV services as well. Amidst these, Jio has eyed on 1600cities to launch their GigaFiber services. With this, it will provide home broadband, smart home, wireline, entertainment and more.

In his note about this, the Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries Limited, Mukesh D. Ambani says as they are successful with their mobility business, they are currently focusing on Home and Enterprise market.

With this Jio mobility services and Gigafiber, there is going to be a tremendous transformation causing Digital revolution in the country. It is to be noted that Reliance Jio has seen 64.7 percent hike in its overall profit and reaped up to Rs 840 crore by end of 31st March 2019. One year ago, during the same quarter, the overall profit gained was Rs 510 crore.
