There has been an increasing trend in recent time in the setting up of surveillance cameras in most offices, houses/apartments, and other security-related /required agencies in order to keep strict monitoring of the activities inside!

The government, for its part, has issued clear orders that CCTV camera installation is mandatory in the following locations jewellery shops, shopping centres, petrol bunks, manufacturing units with more than 100 employees, Central and State Government Offices, Corporate concerns, public sector companies, libraries, club rooms, and bus stands/bus stations.

How to save the recordings on the CCTV cameras?

Once the surveillance monitoring system with CCTV cameras is set up, daily checking must be done to ascertain the proper functioning. The recorded videos must be properly saved in a highly confidential mode in a computer or a Digital Video Recorder (DVR).

Further, in locations like banks where plenty of cash transaction happens throughout, it is advisable to install an alarm bell or a warning system in order to strengthen the security.  While installing this alarm system, it must be clearly checked and ascertained that the alarm system is fully functional with the warning sounds being loud and clear.

Thus, with the government order helping in a safety surveillance systems in all public places, it need not be stressed at all about the private sector companies they must have set up the state-of-the-art latest surveillance systems in their organisations!
