New UAE visa rules

Starting from October 21, here are the new rules imposed for UAE visa. Check out

There is one year residency extension granted to widows and divorced women, as per the cabinet decision. This does not need any sponsor. This has come to effect from 21st October.

This extension of residency visa will be only for one year from the exact date of death or date of divorce. This also encompasses the children living in UAE.

According to the new visa rules, women are offered the chance to get their social and economic status adjusted ahead of leaving the country.

Once the first one gets expired, the tourists or visitors may apply for a new entry visa while still residing in the country.

The authority shall levy Dh100 fee towards cancelling their old visa and the one year residency visa

For children sponsored by their respective parents, in case of visa renewal after finishing their high school or university as they cross 18 years of age, they shall get one year residency visa which can further get renewed for one more year. For this, they will have to pay out Dh100 towards the one year visa and there will be another Dh100 for renewing for one more year.

For all those who are unable to meet these conditions due to humanitarian conditions, a bank deposit of Dh5000 will be applicable.

For two times in 30 days, visitors and tourists will have to get their visas renewed for Dh600 each.

When any visitor or tourist violates, they need to pay out Dh100 in a day from 10 days after the date of expiry of visa.
