Surviving and doing superbly for 50 long years in the retail sector is not that easy!!
Fifty years ago, a multistate appliance brand launched its first store for the sake of the people. Now, this store has celebrated its 50th year on Wednesday by opening its 104th store at Porur in Chennai.
We are now talking about Girias, a multi state appliance brand that has been making many heads turn. Information is that the showroom located at Valasaravakkam on the Arcot Road is Girias 50th outlet in Tamil Nadu.
General Manager of the Girias showroom, Mr. Devanathan expressed his thoughts. He spoke about how after T. Nagar Porur is the prime market as the coverage extends all the way to Poonamallee. This part of Chennai city over the last few years has witnessed the arrival of many big brands in the retail sector.
On the long Arcot Road, Girias has got three showrooms now. This multi state appliance brand has now announced few attractive offers for the customers like cash back up to Rs 50000, 20% cash back on credit card and finance based purchase etc. There would also be a bumper contest for the customers as a part of 50th year celebrations. The 50 lucky participants would be given gifts like free fridges, washing machines, televisions, dishwashers etc. Till 7th of November, these offers would be available at all branches of Girias. Point is that the Porur branch would have special discounts over and above these provisions. Now, Girias has plans to reach the target of 100 stores in Tamil Nadu.
