If you come across Aavin bi-products in the neighbouring states like Telangana and AP etc, then don’t get surprised!!
The state of TN has reduced the price of the milk by Rs 3 per litres and due to this the sales of Aavin milk has increased by 1.65lakh litres. This was highlighted by Mr. S.M. Nasar, state milk and dairy development minister on Thursday. The minister was explaining about the proposed export of Aavin products to abroad nations.
He hinted that the government has plans to export Aavin products to 8 foreign countries and a MoU would be signed soon in this regard. It is learnt that there are plans to sell Aavin bi-products in the nearby states such as Andhra Pradesh and Telangana etc. The minister later threw light on how irregularities were identified in other areas also. He concluded that documents were being collected in relation to the corruption in 8 Milk Cooperative Societies now for the large-scale corruption in 22 of23 societies.
