The South Indian film industry has lost one of its most charismatic actors, Krishna today. Yesterday, he suffered cardiac arrest and he passed away today morning around 4am in a hospital in Hyderabad.
The sensational piece of information is that the 80 year old actor Krishna was Telugu film industry`s first superstar. He along with actors like NTR, ANR carried the Telugu film industry on their shoulders for many years is a well known fact. These 3 great actors have been a source of inspiration for many young actors also.
Ever since making his debut in the year 1965 in the film titled `Thene Manasulu` directed by Adurthi Subba Rao, actor Krishna has done a variety of roles in the Telugu film industry. He appeared in an average of 10 films per year between 1965 to 1995 and that was amazing.
It is well known that his production house `Padmalaya Studios` was established in the year 1970 and through his production house he produced lots of films in languages like Telugu, Tamil and Hindi etc. His son actor Mahesh Babu is highly popular across the world now. In 2016, actor Krishna for the last time donned the grease paint for a film named `Sri Sri` directed by M. Siva. RIP Sir!!
