Examinations postponed with schools remaining closed in three districts

Schools in delta districts, Virudhunagar, Erode and Thoothukudi will remain closed owing to the latest cyclone Gaja. With the colleges functioning as usual the schools were closed and it will remain the same said the sources from the districts. However the schools and colleges in the districts of Madurai, Theni, Dindigul, Ramanathapuram and Sivagangai were still closed in term of after effects of the cyclone.
Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University has cancelled all examinations on the premises and also for other affiliated colleges on November 16 and 17. The revised dates will be announced later said the management of University.
The Directorate of Technical Education has also rescheduled the exams in polytechnic colleges. Earlier it was scheduled between November 16 and 17 and now postponed to November 22 and 23 slot.
Anna University also postponed the examinations that were earlier scheduled on the dates of November 16 and 17 to December 13 and 14 respectively. Examinations scheduled for University department that includes College of Engineering, Guindy, Alagappa College of Technology, Madras Institute of Technology and School of Architecture and Planning were conducted as per the earlier schedule said the officials of the institutions.
