A new Mobile App to prevent ragging

A new mobile App has been created and put up for use to exclusively prevent ragging activities on behalf of Anna University. It has been decided to use this App in all universities.
This App has been developed by a team called ‘Students Management Centre’ on behalf of the Computer Department of Anna University.
Select the option, SCMS Anna University in the Android Play Store Section and download this App.
The students need to register their name and other particulars. In the 1st Phase, the students of Chennai Guindy Engineering College, Chromepet MIT, and Guindy Alagappa College of Technology would be using this App facility.
The App contains details of the punishment for indulging in ragging activities, the address to make a complaint regarding ragging, and the contact cell phone number.
The higher education officials informed that the usage of App will be upgraded and extended soon for students of all other universities as well.
