3rd Phase of counselling for engineering courses set to commence tomorrow (21st July)

The 3rd Phase of counselling for the admission to the engineering courses for the special category candidates belonging to sports section is set to commence tomorrow (Saturday, 21st July).
2 types of counseling are conducted for admission to the engineering courses offered by the engineering colleges affiliated to Anna University. Online counselling will be conducted for the candidates belonging to the common cadre or open community cadre. Single-window counselling session will be adopted for all other categories. In this, 2 Phases of counselling have been completed for the special category candidates of differently-abled, sports specialists, and the heirs of ex-military personnel. The 3rd Phase of counselling is scheduled to commence tomorrow (21st July).
The counselling for 50 seats allotted to the heirs of ex-military personnel is to be conducted tomorrow. The counselling for the sports specialists for the available 150 seats are scheduled to be conducted day-after-tomorrow (22nd July).
The candidates for these sessions have already been selected and they have been intimated through e-mail.
Meanwhile, the ongoing counselling sessions for the Industrial technology group candidates which commenced on 18th July is scheduled to be completed today (20th July).
