For longer and healthier life, you must consume these foods

Do you know that 120,000 people die every year due to chronic illness? This is according to the Centres for Diseases Control statement.

Most of us consume foods that are not healthy at all. The foods are no longer served healthy to the customers. As a result of the intake of unhealthy foods we get many issues such as obesity, cancer plus others like diabetes, cardiovascular diseases etc. Most of us know that the foods we consume are killing us slowly but still consume it.

There are certain healthy foods that must be consumed by us so that we could live healthier and longer. These are

Consume broccoli for cancer- There are many types of cancer attacking the people. It is said that cancers like lung cancers, skin cancers, breast cancers, prostate cancers could be lowered by consuming steamed broccoli few times in a week. The presence of sulforaphane in broccoli does superbly in killing cancer genes. So broccoli must be consumed compulsorily.

Walnuts intake for heart diseases - Risk in heart diseases in us could be reduced effectively by the intake of walnuts. The presence of omega 3 fatty acids plus antioxidants play huge role in this lowering the risk of heart diseases.

For liver diseases consume spinach - Steamed spinach is rich in choline, vitamin E and betaine etc and these play great role in curing liver disease 13 % more effectively. The studies have shown that consuming spinach would do wonders for treating liver diseases etc.

Intake of kidney beans for diabetes - Body would be able to manage blood sugar due to the fibre content present in the kidney beans. Hence kidney beans would be highly effective in preventing type 2 diabetes in us. Increase in the blood sugar levels is prevented by the fibre.

Blueberries consumption for Alzheimer’s disease - By consuming blueberries that are rich in antioxidants, our cells gets protected from getting damaged. This is made possible by changing the way of neurons communicating in brains. Protein clumps accumulation is reduced. Adding blueberries to the diet would minimize the risk of getting Alzheimer’s disease if your family has got history of this disease.

Consume bok choy for reducing BP – It is known that bok choy is a type of Chinese cabbage. This bok choy is loaded with potassium and is superb food for lowering our blood pressure or BP. Presence of vitamin A in bok choy would provide great immunity for us.

Coconut oil intake for obesity - Coconut oil provides us many health benefits is known. This coconut oil is also good for treating obesity and to lose weight in persons. When consumed the metabolism gets increased and the feeling of satisfaction also increases. This is due to the presence of pure saturated fats in coconut oil.   

Garlic intake to reduce cholesterol in us - Apart from being used in many foods for its unique taste, this garlic does amazingly in reducing cholesterol plus triglycerides levels in us. Hence the risk of stokes gets lowered.  Garlic could kill fungi and bacteria due to its antimicrobial nature.
