China`s company Phicomm has introduced a new 4G smartphone at a price of Rs. 3999/-.
As a competition, India`s Micromax, the 2nd largest telecommunication devices company in India, has announced its plan to introduce low-priced 4G smartphones .
Around the same period last year, 4G smartphones were sold at a price of Rs. 8000/-.
The main reason for the price reduction of smartphones is attributed to the intense competition among the telecommunication devices service providers.
