Gold price touches Rs. 44000/- per sovereign! Increase by Rs. 920/-!

The price of gold per sovereign shot up on Tuesday (31st January) and today (Thursday, 2nd February), gold was sold at Rs. 43800/- per sovereign. It is up by Rs. 115/- per gram!

It is learnt that the price of gold per sovereign may touch Rs. 40000/-!

The price of gold fluctuates up and down depending on the global economic status. The budget for 2023-24 was presented on Wednesday, 1st February. The Central Finance Minister Nirmala Seetharaman announced during the budget presentation that the import duty on Gold, silver, and Platinum.

Subsequently, as the customs taxes increase, the Gold Jewellery makers shared that there were prospects for the gold jewellery to increase by a large margin!

In this situation, today (Thursday, 2nd February), the gold price increased by Rs. 115 per gram and sold at Rs. 5475 per gram and the gold price per sovereign shot up by Rs. 920/- and sold at Rs. 43800/- per sovereign!

The price of the 24-carat gold increased by Rs. 968/- and is sold at Rs. 45992/- per sovereign. The cost of silver also shot up by Rs. 2.50 per gram and sold at Rs. 77/- per gram and kg, the silver price increased by Rs. 2500/- and was sold at Rs. 77300/- per kg!
